Does anyone have any links that show some hardware/schematics for PIC implementation? I'd like to see a practical application, a "real-life" example. In particular, powering the device, and interfacing inputs/outputs/analog with the Evil Outside World. (Maybe a consumer item whose prints are available? Just brainstorming...)

My prototype and code is functioning fine on my bench, but when I hand them out for Christmas, it could be a whole new ballgame! (Hypothetical, that...I'd charge for them, of course )
