I appreciate my membership being accepted on this forum. I recently purchased a new Siglent SDS1052DL+ O-Scope. New out of the box it failed to boot. On power on it stops at the boot splash screen. I have attempted pulsing the Math button on boot, but after numerous attempts I still don’t get past the Boot Splash screen. I contacted Siglent and was emailed a link to a Bios download. I attempted to boot with the Flash Drive containing the new file, but still don’t get beyond the black screen. Everything that I have been able to find shows updating the firmware is done through the operating system menu and since my scope won’t boot, I’m at a loss for what to do. Joel at Siglent informed me my scope was NOT under warranty because I didn’t purchase it direct from Siglent And would have to pay them $195 to repair my equipment. I believe I saw a thread here somewhere that there is a user from New Zealand that has helped others to get their scopes going. I’m hoping someone here can help me.
