People have been telling me to clean up my electronics room. What are your opinions as more experienced electrical engineers than me?

Nah! Your's is pristine compared to mine.
The heating ductwork has too many bends.
I like the Trane unit. I am having one installed next week.

 

Bob Pease and Jim Williams were both known to have messy work areas.

I'm with them. I'm happy if I have a couple square feet of space to work.

 

The only time to "clean up" is when you need to push stuff aside to make room for the new project. If you "put it away" you'll never remember where you put it and lose hours looking for it later! Or else you'll completely forget you had one and have to buy another one because you need it.
