Selecting a 2kHD-video out capable SOM

Hi,
In an upcoming project I need to drive a high definition screen (2560x1440), and the frame rate needs to be at least 60Hz. I looked around for a while and found a couple of interesting chips:
  • Nvidia Tegra K1
  • Nvidia Jetson TX2
  • Rockchip 3399
  • Rockchip 3368
  • Snapdragon 820
They all have 4k@60Hz output capabilities and the processing and GPU power should be enough for my purpose (basically I just need to stream a HD camera feed to the screen and do minor modifications, like pixel multiplication or addition to set brightness and contrast).
Since this will be my first experience with an embedded system I would like to collect some thoughts about the aforementioned chips. Do you think they meet my requirements? 60Hz is the absolute lowest value I can accept, are there any chips out there that can support 90Hz or even 120Hz? Or will the ones above be able to deliver a higher frame rate as stated in the datasheets because I am driving a 2k screen instead of a 4k one?
Thanks to anyone that provides some thoughts!

What inputs does this high definition screen have?
I have not decided what display to use yet, but it will be either HDMI or MIPI-DSI. I would prefer the second (EDIT: because the connector is smaller). Does it make a difference?
At the moment I was looking at something like this, but if the chip can output more than 60 fps, I would have to look for something else.
