When I try to use the search function...
I get..."cannot display the webpage".....
Even using the advance search doesnt work...
is it on my end or is there something wrong with the fourm

I just tried the search funtion and it works for me.

Personally I do not like the standard search, so I stick with the advanced search, which works much better for what I need (usually).

 

So you go to the top of the page....click search....
type in .....say... "power supplies" ...into the search field....
select the radio button..."show threads"
Click ...Go......
Correct....?

If I follow your instructions, I also get a 500 error. Try the Advanced Search and search only titles. That worked for me.

In the advanced search you can even look for posts or thread from a user.
Also you can do a dedicated search in a specific forum.
