I just picked up my first digital scope and I was wondering if anyone knew of some good videos that would teach me how to use my scope and not blow it up ..My scope is a DS1054Z..

I think about the only way you can blow it up is by connecting the ground to something other than ground and/or applying excessively high voltages to the inputs.

I like watching his videos and I know he does alot on analog scope but wasn't sure on how much on the newer digital ones..

 

Digital scopes are roughly the same thing as an analog one, so if you know how not to blow up an analog scope then you should have no problem with a digital one. They all have the same basic controls - vertical gain, time base and trigger settings - that is what you need 99.9 % of the time. Digital scopes will have more features but those are usually just try and see what it does.
