I'm currently working on drawing the test bed, which I will then wire. It consists of the 1st and last schematics, which incorporate the standard layout in the middle. Just to show what it might look like I'll post pictures on this post later, with the intent to change it to the final version later.

If the school has an electronics dept. you might see if you can recruit help from there.

 

OK, finished drawing the prototype layout. It is spread out a bit to allow easier drawing, I think it might be possible to fit your unit on two prototype board if they were laid out tighter. The green wires are to simulate the switches.

Now to build it.
