good day guys i just wanna ask on how to generate saw tooth waveform using a 555 timer circuit? with an input from a multivibrator from cascaded 555 timer citcuits....
The datasheet of a 555 shows a linear ramp circuit. It can makw a sawtooth generator circuit. It uses a constant current source transistor to slowly charge the capacitor then the 555 quickly discharges it.
sir Audioguru do you have any ciruits pre-designed with regards to this issue?...
before i try to input an astable type of configuration on a differentiator type of op-amp to create a ramp output but the outcome still on the "on-off" condition. why is that sir??..
As Audioguru noted, the pre-designed circuit is presented in the data sheet.
Regarding your differentiator, you will have to share your schematic and your input signal (including skew rates). Note well that the differentiator will not create a sawtooth output from a square wave in - you need an integrator for that trick.
