In google chrome
Go to settings->manage password->show/hide password

1. Anyone can see the saved password if someone know the computer password. In this way all your password can be viewed by anyone who knows your computer password.

2. is there any way to protect that. Oblivious one way not to tell anyone computer password. But in friend circle or professionally also someone needs your laptop for any reason.

3. Firefox helps, in that case by giving a master password to show/hide password.

But there is no such option in chrome I find. is there any way to stop that in chrome, other than:
1. not to tell anyone computer password
2. user mozilla or other browser

seems to fit right in with google's sharing policy :)

personally i avoid saving ANY passwords. getting into just about any windows os and resetting/removing users/administrator login passwords is not hard at all.

My version of Chrome (37.0.2062.103m) requires a Chrome password, which can be different from the password used to access the computer (Windows 7 Pro).
