I have a Rambler BT DAB radio which works perfectly but has no display on the LCD. Backlight is on.
Has anyone had any information or schematics for this radio. Circuit board is marked Rambler 301-00
The display driver is ET8861 (48 pin chip) - pin 17 (VDD) is measuring 1.6v I suspect this is lower than it should be but unable to find any information online for this chip.

Thanks, thats a useful start. Suggesting VDD should be between 2.4 & 5.2v . I suspected that VDD was to low at 1.6v I'll try and trace the PCB to find where the supply originates from.

 

There's a few repair threads on Roberts DAB radios that suggest the power board has a few issues; not sure if thats relevant to your model.
