Very interesting stories... it always frustrates me seeing how these unsung heroes of technology, these extremely valuable people that made a huge difference by significantly increasing the quality of everybody's lives, are far less mourned in their passing than singers, movie stars and entertainers in general.

 

Agree. It's a wonderful thing: we are standing on the shoulders of giants. We benefit from the thousands of generations before us who one by one painstaking step and one by one curious life developed our amazing culture of science technology and art
