He was a favorite of mine. I did not realize he had been doing it for so long - here is a cover he did in 1954!

He had this kind of weird intensity that was perfect. I wonder if he ever imagined in the 60s that every freaking thing those three (Lee, Kirby, Ditko) did would be made and remade a zillion times.
