I was watching this video on the new Ring Video Doorbell 4k that comes with a Mini Speaker.

Go to the Time Stamp 1:04 she shows you after you connect it you can put it up outside the Doorbell Housing Box.

What I do not understand is after you connect the Mini Speaker if you put the Mini Speaker up outside the Doorbell Housing Box it will have the 2. Wires coming from it.

So how can you slide the Doorbell Housing Box Cover back over it if you have the 2. Wires going to the Mini Speaker they will be to thick?

 

If they are actually too thick you can make a slot in the doorbell housing. They may be quite thin and pose no problem.

 

I did not watch that video, but it seems to me that you must BUY both items NEW, rather than add something to an existing outside package.

OR, the connections are done externally. The ring doorbell that I installed for a client had external connections, not connections available inside the cover.
OF COURSE, I also regard all of the "ring" family of products as overpriced, and vastly "over touted".
But that is my opinion, others are welcome to have their own opinions.
