RGB moddable?

It IS an interesting consideration, though. Quite a few color television receivers DO have RGB with synch inputs. BUT the sets that use a single IC to do the color decoding lack that ability.

First guess - maybe:

Pins 47, 49, and 51, with 53 as the control input to switch between internal and external signals.

Also, maybe 58, 60, and 62.

Other pins are marked for sync, H-Drive and V-drive, etc. but it is not clear if these are inputs or outputs.

After some more thought, one idea makes sense! Since the data sheet seems to be available, READ THE DEVICE DESCRIPTION!! THE described functions of the IC are much clearer than trying to guess what a device can do by looking at the pin descriptions.
