Hi
Is there any circuit for high voltage rf probe can measure 2mhz output high voltage? Let's say 3 to 4kv. Similar propes are expensive. I have high voltage normal probe( the red one) it can measure high voltage from khz source but not mhz. I found that the yellow ones can measure up to 50mhz high voltage attached picture. But some have any circuit for building one?

I can find them at $300.

The cost of the correct resistors, capacitors, and parts to make a properly insulated handle, to build a safe probe, is not cheap either.
HV resistors.

Search for: Building a high-voltage 1:1000 probe
The resistors are not the issue, I have high voltage probe https://ebay.us/m/cfbs8w
This probe is rated up to 25 khz not mhz
The mhz probe is expensive 350 and plus, so any ideas about this circuit

The money is not the issue, I want to build it by myself, in my project everything is built from scratch , this is why!
IMO, a not so smart decision with life-safety test equipment but it's yours to make and mine not to help. I design/build/repair lots of much more dangerous/complex things from scratch.

The magic smoke and the resistor are missing.

80KV HV high vacuum insulator turned to dust.

My words are from experience working on HV systems like this for decades. I'm all for the fun of building it but I put safety first, period.

easy on me, I'm not jumping high for this project. All I need to measure 2mhz amplifier output voltage from 1kv to 4kv not more, no voltage multiplier are included.

I'd be easier on you if I knew exactly what you are building instead of looking a some picture of a potentially dangerous device. The build work on the vacuum variable capacitor connections looks pretty bad. Pointy, corona generating, field emission creating wire connections.

That's leads me to be be careful helping you with anything higher than LV potentials.

It's an old picture, all the wires has been changed to copper stripes, this was a test for power. For now I can't say any thing what is the device. By the way I got the information that I needed from paid chatgpt. This forum is a scientific forum and everyone have to share the knowledge, this is why this forums was made. I'm not 15 years old boy, to protect me from myself. I can know what is bad what is wrong at age 46. So thanks ,you can keep the information. Have a good day

QUESTION::How accurate do the measurements need to be?? Accuracy is the expensive part most of the time. Safety is not making any errors. The errors damage those who are not aware of what they are doing. So understanding fully the hazards is useful in avoiding them.
