Ordered a bunch of these QW-MS3010D bench power supplies.
First shipment came with 230VAC 50Hz model and power plug. Promptly returned.
Second shipment came with LINE and NEUTRAL swapped in the AC power cord. Threw AC cords in scrap bin.

Tested the first power supply at 10A @ 30VDC. Promptly blew out one of the power transistors.

Just thought I would let you know.

Buyer Beware.

While not quite sure I think with power supplies like this from China the X5 Current Rule applies also known as the 20% current rule. These rules of current are nothing like Kirchoff's laws. What it comes down to is if a power supply is of Chinese manufacture they will effectively deliver about 20% or 1/5th of their advertised current. Also, the load cannot be applied suddenly but slowly worked up to.

Thanks for sharing Mr. Chips.

A power supply exactly like descirbed in this thread gives a lot of ripple, about 2Vpp, with about 10ms period, unloaded. Under load this decrease a bit. What would cause this? Could it be the DK112 controller not working properly? Anything else?
