Hello all, I was wandering if anyone can recommend some books or online material that would be helpful in understanding the circuitry of FM trasnmitters and receivers and possibly provided information on how to go about designing such circuits from scratch.

 

It's hard to beat the ARRL Radio Amateurs Handbook. A new one for 2014 is about $60.00, but an old one from say a decade ago can be had for $0.50 at a hamfest of which there are hundreds. Check www.ARRL.org for dates and locations.
