Hi,
I have a faulty(open circuit) SMD resistor on a Car (Toyota Yaris) display unit. As per photo, it has 1102 printed on it which I believe is a 11K ohm resistor however I'm struggling to find this particular part anywhere. Does anyone know what compatible alternatives there might be for this part?

R15 is the one that is open circuit.

 

11k resistors are everywhere:

you should have no problem finding one.
Before you do, just get a soldering iron and touch the solder joint at the top. It doesn't look properly soldered to me.

thanks for that. I did actually measure the resister with an Ohm Meter and it ready about 3.5M Ohm. when I compared with R16, it was 10.97K Ohm which it should be hence pretty sure the resister is knackered.

Is it possible to tell what type of resister is in the picture? does it have to be SMD or will any 11K Ohm resister do? I see reference online to Thick/Thin Film etc and also different power/voltage ratings....
