Reporting from Ladder Logic & Function Block Diagrams in SCADA

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice.

I'm new to PLC programming

Looking to create a device that runs a set of tasks using a logic controller to run a motor and some pumps and sensors.

I would like to know if it will be possible for me to develop something that will be able to produce data reports from this? So produce data outputs from sensors connected to the system which I can then pass to a SCADA system or will I be limited by the functionality available with Ladder Logic or Function Block Diagrams?


I'd very much appreciate any advice or suggestions
