hi can u some one help that whats the difference between variable reluctance motor and switched reluctance motor ?
Isn't it closer to a BLDC than a stepper? A switched reluctance motor uses no permanent magnets though, but does use hall effect or similar sensors for commutation. The switched reluctance motor is a form of stepper motor.
