Have a TC4420EOA713 and its output peaks at 6amps.

Would big capacitors at its Vcc pins lower the 6amp peak current draw which the TC4420EOA713 draws from the power supply?

The peak current is determined by the MOSFET gate C, Vcap, and the rate of change of Vcap, basically

In addition the effective output R of the driver affects peak current.
So what you have is a RC network driven by a V source.

In datasheet is bypass recommendations for the driver.
