I'm not sure, but i think it was part of some mattress.

 

The only metal that can be in a mattress would relate to a built in heater.

 

My best guess is that it is a switch.

 

It looks like part of the foot operated speed control for a sowing machine. I think there may be pieces of carbon inside the ceramic part that are pressed together when pressure is applied. I think the metal parts act as a switch to short out the carbon pile to provide full speed.

It has 2 wires encapsulated in white composition, i think magnesium oxide.

Ok, but why a switch needs 2 wires encapsulated in magnesieum oxyde as shown in the photo N°A.

 

If you measure the resistance between the terminals when you press on the screw that goes through the item from the opposite end to the contacts you should find that the resistance reading reduces as the pressure is increased.
