Recommendation for AA powered audio amp IC

I'd like recommendations for an audio power amplifier ic that can run off
3 AA batteries into a single 8 ohm 0.5 W speaker.

A TDA2822M little audio amplifier IC produces 0.45W at clipping into 8 ohms with a 4.5V supply. When the battery drops to only 3.0V then the output power is only 0.15W.
