Unable to find the earlier Sony DVD/VHS player thread I starte. This is the latest I have on it, that it could be OK, but that the RCA Rf modulator that connects to the TV is defective. The modulator works in the bypass or pass through mode of Rf signal in, but not in the RCA video/LR Speaker in so that it is supposed to make an Rf signal to the TV that has only Rf input. See the right side of trouble shooting in the schematic. Wouldn't work in this mode or show TV, just snow, but give it an Rf to pass through it is OK, so perhaps the Sony DVD/VHS is OK. I apologize for the misspelling.

I see no power connection to the RCA device. Or does it function with internal batteries???
