I replaced it with a new encoder because the radio control button of my Ford fiesta did not perform the on-off function. The encoder on it was not turning the radio on or off, even though the sound was on and off. The new encoder performs the on/off function but does not increase or decrease the volume. What could be wrong with the circuit? I am also attaching the original encoder images
