Why cable placement and position have a large impact on Radiated Emission Measurements.

 

If it is being radiated by the cables, they are acting as antennas so why would the placement and position not have an effect on the emissions?

 

I want to know how impedance of the cables can affect Emission Performance

I see most of the times cables are positioned in a zigzag manner while exposing to the antenna. Is there any specific reason to take up this position
