Ah, yes. Didn’t much care for the Dobie character, but Maynard G. Krebs was my role model for life.

I was lucky enough to be born in the age of color TV although I do remember watching a few black and white TVs in my younger years. I never saw the show until a few years back when they were running it on one of the retro channels I can pick up and while not one of the favorites it was one that I liked. I have to admit Maynard made the show, but it was still a fun one to see. It's amazing to see how much TV has changed over the years. Some of these older shows are way more entertaining than half the crap on these days.
