Change C1 to the same value as C2.

Change IC1 from LM555 to LMC555.

We've updated the circuit to run on 5V that's being stepped down from the 12V DC Car battery through a 12V DC to 6VDC 3A buck converter.
Everything seems to be working OK with an exception of the 2 LEDs on brach 3 connected to pin 6 of the 4060B IC chip.
If I look at the two LEDs from the top they look bright enough but if I look at them from the sides they look to be a little dimmer than the rest of the LEDs in the circuit.
This is the updated diagram. Let me know if any of you guys see anything out of whack.


UPDATE:
Just discovered in my diagram I had it right but on my breadboard I had my wire on pin 6 going to the 3rd LED in the string and not right in the middle so the circuit was trying to light 3 LEDs instead of 2.... my bad. :/

 

As insulators or spacers I have used bugle beads, # 2 about 2 mm X 5 mm.
