QM1535 auto shutoff - is override possible

I have a cheapy Digitech QM1535 multimeter, which has an auto shutoff function. However, I’m doing some testing of a device with a suspect DW01A chip (or maybe it’s the 9017R charge controller) and I wanted to set my phone up to film the multimeter (overnight, in Timelapse mode) monitoring the voltage on the cell so I can see at what point the device shuts down. Is there a way anyone knows to either officially override the auto shutoff function, or hack the circuitry inside the meter with a temporary fix to achieve this?
TIA

Possibly the manual may have a way to achieve that option.

Ha ha - quite possibly, but I’ve long since lost that (if it ever had one - which I suspect it didn’t - I’m usually pretty good at keeping manuals for everything - even after I’ve disposed of the item ), and I’ve had no luck finding a manual online - which further fuels my doubt that there ever was one…
Thanks anyway.
