I am looking for help. I need to put three 4017's (divide by ten) in series. Can anyone show me the pin connections to acheive this goal?

The circuit is in Motorola/ONsemi/Freescale's datasheet. You'll need a couple of AND gates.

Look at the top of the 6th page.

Motorola uses "MC1" in front of their CMOS part numbers instead of "CD" like most everyone else.

If you get "stuck", don't be afraid to ask for more help.

I forgot to mention - you should always place a 0.1uF capacitor across the power/ground pins of any IC. It will help a great deal to eliminate "glitches".
