So I am accumulating these snapped off KitProgs, and I would really like to use them if possible.

I recall reading in the user guide that they can be used as a low speed oscope or a logic analyzer, and they do have GPIO pins available.

So my question is...can they by hooked up as a target device and programed as you would any other target device? Or do they have to be used this way while still connected to the target device?

If so can you give me the process for doing so, I mean do I just connect one to another and use the Creator software as I would any other device, using the GPIO pins as labeled IE: P0_1 etc?

Or do I actually select a KitProg when I start a new project?

Am I way off base, and this can't even be done?

 

You can program them but not debug code in them thru USB connector as the debugger code in them
works on external device, the target. Basically you use them as a bootloader based project.

If you want to use them/debug, you will need Miniprog3.
