What would I need in order to have the setup listed below?

Small motor (the type that might be used in a tv lift) that will come on every 30 days for a duration of 5 seconds that’s powered by a small battery.

*I would like the option to be able to adjust the 30 days as well as the 5 second duration.

What is the accuracy you want in the timing ?

How do you want to adjust the timing, a pot, entry of time values via display and keyboard.....?

Motor powered by DC, if so what voltage and current. If AC what current

Regards, Dana.

Timing would need to be pretty accurate based on the timer, not necessarily the date/time of day.

This is just an idea at the moment, but I envision - a small green panel with electrical components on it that has a socket where a programmable chip can be inserted that holds the timer settings I uploaded to the chip. We done something similar to this with an old “race car” I owned. The ECU was socketed and the tuner was able to upload different tunes to the chip via his laptop.

I’m here to learn from you, DC, AC, amps, voltage, motors, relays, timer, etc. nothing is set in stone except the end goal of being able to have a setup that will do the what I mentioned above.

I’ve been searching for someone local to help me with this, but I haven’t been successful. Any of you from Louisiana?

Based on my perception of your design experience I would think something like an off the
shelf Blue Tooth timer might make sense.

Something like this -

https://www.banggood.com/Bluetooth-...-p-1555688.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN

You will have to examine its manual to see if it can program down to seconds. And check out what its app
will run on, eg. tablet, phone to see what suits you.

I just did a web search on "bluetooth timer", lots of products out there.

Not something I could add into my product without a licensing agreement from the manufacture of the Bluetooth device. I really just need to find someone with knowledge in this area, an open mind and entrepreneurial dreams so we can build it! :) Where do you think I might find someone who would have this type skill set locally? Not typically common knowledge of your average electrician....
