This is another case of, "I saw it, therefore I can design it from scratch."
I saw it on TV, in a movie, in a Wiley Coyote cartoon, therefore I have the skills to do state-of-the-art engineering in several specialized fields, special dispensation against the laws of physics, and the money to buy and operate several electrical and mechanical fabrication shops. All I need is for somebody to tell me one or two numbers about the motors.
Sorry. It doesn't work that way. The reason you only see these magnificent and inspiring things in video is because most of them don't exist in the physical world, and the ones that do exist are not cheap or easy.

Sorry. It doesn't work that way. The reason you only see these magnificent and inspiring things in video is because most of them don't exist in the physical world, and the ones that do exist are not cheap or easy.
Good idea. Any application of power on or near a human - interfacing a human and mechanical power - risks damaging the human. Even the simple elbow assist diagram made me wince. Without great care, it could be a bone breaker resembling a medieval torture device.
