Presumably an electronics project?
For starters, make a list of particular branches of electronics (or whatever) which you can deal with competently and which interest you.

 

Face Book, Instegram , Twitter etc.

I was thinking about designing a, "micro-agression detector". One part might be a skin conductivity device to switch an LED on when the hypersensitive person has an emotion, but the important part would be a very visible blinking LED and a very visible label on the front of the device so other people will see the problem coming and know to leave immediately.
