Hi I'm working on a "boom box" and I need to replace the broken headphone jack. The part number is no longer available from any US source. After looking at hundreds of available types, nothing came close and I was about to give up.Then I googled for it in the images. After a few minutes I was shocked to find it.
It is available through AliExpress. Not too familiar but the are sort of a marketer for many Chinese manufacturers.
The one that makes the jack I need is HongKong RTL Industrial Limited . I will try to add the image I found. I'm very confused about trying to contact them. You have set up account with AliExpress, then sort of randomly look for what you want. Weird is they don't seem to put part or item number on things. seems accurate description is only way to reference items. I have gotten to the store site but only sell the item in 1000 piece quantity....no cant handle more than 1-2. I wanted to ask if they will send one as a "sample" but just can't seem to get in touch. I tried some sort of chat or messaging but no response.
See this web page to see the part. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32756914862.html

Can anyone help in figuring out how to get this part? I wish there was a US source or a way to ask this manufacturer for one sample piece. Thanks for your help.

Most of the Sellers on Ali Express don't know much about what they're selling. In some cases, they might not even be aware that they're selling counterfeit product.

Slow shipping from China is a plus now. The coronavirus can survive for a long time (28 days with favorable conditions).
