problem with supercapacitor

I 'm trying to charge a 5 farad 2.7 supercapacitor with a small solar panel (2.5 volt) , but it doesn't charge .

what should i do ?

i easily charge the supercap with a 1.5 volt battery but when i try to charge it with the solar panel it doesn't work as i said

I’ve never tried this, but I suspect that the supercap is acting as a short circuit across the solar cell stopping it operating correctly. You could try placing a resistor between the solar cell and the capacitor – if that works, optimise the resistor value for the quickest charge time.
