Hi I am trying to create or produce noise in my circuit which deals with the design of a lock in detection system. I have already tried using a zener diode in reverse biase mode but did not get any results. Is there any other way of producing noise ? Thanks

What was the circuit diagram, and what is the low and high frequency cutoffs?

I've always heard you need a lot of gain after a low level noise source, so I have to ask what kind of amplification you used.

It's better to use a dedicated noise diode

I've usually been able to get a couple of free samples from these guys.

Hello,

What is the frequency range of the noise ?
Is it in audio range or do you need RF noise ?
Do you need "pink" or "white" noise ?

Greetings,
