What are these eight H variables?

Are we expected to guess?

What is your highest priority input? Is it the lowest numbered priority or the highest?

Assuming it is the lowest, then I5 is your highest priority signal and whenever signal I5 is HI, shouldn't the encoder output 5.

Why is H0 never HI?

If H0 is never HI, then what purpose does it serve in your expressions for Y2 and Y0?

Your expression for Y2 says it should be HI if any of H0, H3, H4, or H5 is HI.

Do you agree that this is what you want? What if I6 is the only input that is HI? Do you want Y2 to be HI if I3 is the only input that is HI?

Have you even attempted to ask if your proposed solution makes sense?
