Precautions when working on a Panasonic Inverter MWO?

I've read what I can find online about Inverter Technology in Microwaves.

I have a Panasonic Model NNSD6815 with an error code of H98.
I understand that to be a door switch problem, and I am looking into that.

However, since there is no High Voltage Capacitor, is there anything to discharge before working on it?

It appears to me that as soon as it is unplugged it is safe to work on.

I would appreaciate if someone could confirm that.

Thanks,
Gary

Is it a NNSD681S? If so, here's a link to the service manual. See pg. 9 about discharging HV caps.

Be careful. These can be very dangerous i.e. lethal if you don't know what you are doing.

OMG. All that to replace a diode and a capacitor???
Must have more microprocessors! (To the tune of, "brains, more brains")

Available Thanks,

I'll keep that Service Manual for reference.

And by going there, I found the Parts list.
