HI all, i dabble with alot of IOT stuff and am working on a greenhouse project. Like a big greenhouse. I need to power a couple of fans that run on 230v ac motors. One motor is just a single speed. The other is a two speed motor. I would like to use a sonoff device https://www.itead.cc/sonoff-4ch.html (thats an example of what I have in house). They have many others and some of you may have played around with them. I have flashed mine to the Tasmoto firmware. I can turn the circuit on and off. So now I want to figure out how to set it up to change speed.

This link https://fccid.io/2AE2J-4CH/User-Manual/User-Manual-3449308 has a diagram of an ac motor. But its not specific to a two speed fan. Do you think i can wire this so that i could control it? Can just wire one relay to the the black wire and then the other to the blue wire?

here is the schematic for my motor https://photos.app.goo.gl/9KBvliTZlIxeUpL13

thanks!

Sonoff Circuit Board Sonoff Dual.jpg Sonoff Circuit Board.jpg Screen Shot 2018-02-21 at 16.55.51.png Hi Boilermanc,

I have a similar project where I am trying to raise a TV lift up and down using Sonoff/Alexa. The system is RF and uses a remote control to go up and down. The TV turns on when the lift goes up, TV turns off when it goes down with a motor

My knowledge is very poor when it comes to electronics but I have given it a go, I was wondering if you might have any wisdom you might be able to pass on about the Sonoff?

See images below. My first attempt has been using a Sonoff Basic the results were

SONOFF ON = Nothing happens
SONOFF OFF = Lift moves down

This is still the case once I have moved the lift back up with the remote

My second attempt has been with the SONOFF DUAL with a bit more success!

SONOFF RELAY 1 ON = Nothing happens
SONOFF RELAY 1 OFF = Lift moves up

SONOFF RELAY 2 ON = Nothing happens
SONOFF RELAY 2 OFF = Lift moves down

But this is not ideal so I am assuming there is another way to wire this up!

Hope you can help!
