I have a controller and a led light .
the controller puts out a 0-10v analog signal to dim the led. it goes from 0 to 10v over a few hours and back down slowly . I would like to have this switch a on/off circuit on the led cus even though the signal is 0v it won't dim to off the led .the led power source has a on/off circuit and I tryed a relay but it will only turn on at like 5 volts and off at 3v I would like for as soon as the dimmer starts it's cycle to turn the led on/off circuit on or off

That being the case I'd just design a timer from 'scratch' --- Otherwise you could use a comparator (or an Op Amp configured as a comparator) To detect the desired transition level and assert the switch control signal...
