I need to connect an electric motor to power supply 3,6 VDC.
I have 6 x 1,2 V batteries in series in my circuit what is used to feed other 7,2 V device.

Can I connect my el. motor to just 3 batteries to feed it with 3,6V or I have to add another set of batteries?

thanks

can't understand ur question , but it depends on the motor and the speed u want , more the speed , more must be the voltage u need to apply

Probably yes, it depends on your circuit.

Since you have your batteries in series, then yes, you can. However, you will discharge a set of batteries a lot more than the other set. Because of this, I don't recommend this approach.
