just a question about power factor. i have built a variable DC voltage power supply. the power factor of the supply is 1... am i correct? my reasoning is as the output terminals it give DC voltage and current, so they are like in phase(i kno its an AC term but yea..). so am i correct in my r3easoning or wat do i have to do to get the power factor of it?

Is the DC supply in question an SMPS or a linear regulator?
