I always pay attention to the opening and closing paragraphs of novels and reports.
The guy who wrote the Lorri's report should be publicly commended for being a sober (and precise!) writer:
It has operated successfully in flight, and its performance is completely nominal. It will obtain the first high resolution imaging observations in the Pluto system and at one or more additional Kuiper Belt objects.
I liked that (and even Stephen King would).
