Hello,In a system of 10bit pipeline which consists o 1.5bit pipeline sections and the last section is a 4bit flash ADC.
The first stage of pipeline consumes 20mW,the next stages where "scaled" to keep a constant KTC noise.
ALso the input capacitance of Flash was scaled also.
I need to know ,what is the power consumed by all pipeline amplifer stages after "scaling"?
We have a 10bit system so 6bits are 1.5bits and 4bits of flash,So we have 6 stages of 1.5bit pipeline one after the other.
Each 1.5 bit stage has X2 amplifier so by using the expression bellow in order to keep the same KTC
1st stage C
2nd stage 0.5C
3rd stage 0.25C
4th stage 0.125C
So what is the link between the capacitances and the power they consume?

The closest thing i thought was the GBW=gm/C definition of amplifier but i dont know how to link the GBW definition to consumed Power

What is the link between the sampling frequency and consumed power?
Basicly its a question about power consumption of an amplifier based on its capacitance.
Thanks.
