The fuse will not damage the components. If there are components to be damaged they are already damaged. The fuse is to prevent a fire.

Both fuses blow? There may be an issue with the voltage select switch and/or the transformer primary winding.
Try this: Replace both fuses and set the voltage selector back to 240 VAC. Unplug the unit, but turn the on-off switch on. Set your ohmmeter to its lowet range, and short the leads together. Note/post the reading. Measure/post the resistance between the power plug prongs. Now switch to 120 VAC and measure/post again. These are going to be low values, so make sure you are getting good contact on the power plug prongs.

so i followed what you just told me ...here's what i did .

put 2 new fuses, turned ON the power button without putting the plug in and set the multimetter to 200 omhs and connected to plug prongs. on different voltage selector settings, here are ratings i got :

on 240 volt i got 05.8
on 220 volt i got 12.0
on 120 volt i got 0.01
on 110 volt i got 6.1

Please check these again. Those readings make no sense.

There is definitely an issue in the transformer primary wiring or the voltage select switch.

Trying to look at the pictures and follow the wiring. That first interior picture you posted is not your actual unit, right? I see no voltage selector switch in it. Looking at this:

the transformer must have 11 or 12 wires/terminals. I see only 7 in your pictures.

Are there other wires coming out of the transformer that we don't see? Is there any number on the transformer that you can read, such as AST-30? Wondering if we might be looking at an undocumented variant.

Remove both fuses, set the voltage select to "120" and set the unit to 'on'. Measure the resistance between the power plug prongs. Should be open.
Insert FU1 and measure the resistance between the power plug prongs.
Remove FU1, install FU2 and measure the resistance between the power plug prongs.
Put in both fuses and measure again - earlier you got 0.01.

THERE is a Fault on the 120V setting!!

Must be the select switch, try powering it up on the 110V setting..

That was my first thought too, but those resistances are all screwed up. The 240 volt resistance should be a bit more than that at 220 v. Since the primaries are being switched from series to parallel, the resistance at 120 should be 1/4 that at 240, and the resistance at 110 should be 1/4 that of 220.

Are the connections at the transformer numbered?
Can you identify the numbers 1 to 7 on the primaries and 3 to 7 on the secondaries?

If you can, with POWER OFF and UNPLUGGED, set the voltage selector switch to 240V.
Measure the resistance across the windings at the primaries:

1 - 2
1 - 3
1 - 4
1 - 5
1 - 6
1 - 7
4 - 5
4 - 6
4 - 7

Appears to have overload detectors instead of speaker fuses. If one fuse opens but you have two fuses, first thing to check would be to switch the speakers and see if the other fuse pops. You may have a bad speaker or shorted speaker cable.

Hello Ylli, the first thing with amplifiers blowing fuses, is to check the output devices. You might try removing the power supply unit from the rest of the circuit, if the fuses blow, then you have a fault in the power supply unit, if not, then the problem is further in the amplifier. Do the fuses blow quietly.? I.E. just melt, or are they violently blowing.? I.E. blackening the glass holder.
