San Francisco in the late 1960s was peak groovie era.

A classic for sure. I took the family on a California vacation some years ago, centered on SFO. Put the pics and video together later and of course used this song (and many others) for background music

 

These never get old.

 

 

Few weeks ago, at our southernmost port in mainland, Ushuaia, a no wind so silent snowfall.

Some activity only at the end of the wharf.

In a continent full of extraordinary cathedrals, La Sagrada Familia must be one of Europe’s most spectacular.

It's here, looking south. If you put the lat-long co-ordinates into Google Maps you can see the same view.
The only watercourse is a small chalk-stream.
Incidentally, chalk-streams are one of the rarest habitats, there being only 260 of them in the world.

 

This image was taken about 10 miles away from the SpaceX complex in south Texas, thus I believe is a first glimpse of some sort of environmental prototype for the planned Mars colony.
On the left there is an AC minisplit unit, on the right below the tarp there is a gasoline generator. Note the insulated refrigerant pipe going into the cabin extension.
The unit was in actual operation.
