Oh, I'd completely agree with you ... if she were driving on the Autobahn

 

 

I have to confess I cheated a bit and ran inside for the GoPro, recorded a short video, and looked for the best frame I could find. It's times like this I am jealous of all of you with real cameras. it's hard to sneak up on these critters and get the perfect up close shot before they get spooked and fly away.

I thought it might be some sort of odd colored Monarch by the bottom side of the wings... found it looks to be a Red-spotted Purple
