Yes, I seem to vaguely recall that in one of the biggest parlors I ever seen.

More than the noise, the number of machines, what impressed me the most was the expression of some "players" totally abstracted, God knows thinking about what, while watching their machines play (in pure auto mode). Some of them "attending" up to three machines. Weird.

A small bunch of those little steel balls still do show up on my bench from time to time...

Spring has arrived​

 

I work at a High School on the point of a peninsula into Boston Harbor. From “land” it takes me 20 minutes to drive out to it. There is an island in the harbor upon which expensive condos were built (think a million plus). This picture was taken from the peninsula at sunset.
