Slightly off topic but humorous. I worked in the test and assembly of CRDMs (Control Rod Drive Mechanisms (Naval Reactors). We had huge complex test stands. One day an engineer, not me, tripped over a 120 VAC plug and ended up scramming a CRDM. I came up with a great idea, everything became twist lock plugs and sockets. Doing for technology today what should have been done yesterday. :) Oh yeah, this was a train wreck explaining to Navy Nuclear why we had a unscheduled SCRAM of a part they were paying a million dollars for. They have no sense of humor. :)

I was once asked to help move some equipment around a reactor.
When I exited from the reactor, I set off the body radiation monitors. Someone had failed to tell me that I had to wear protective gloves in order to move the equipment. The things I moved were contaminated.
